So, as I tool around CES getting my hands all over the latest and greatest Android's to launch this year, one common theme seems to ring true. Can you guess what that might be? Yeah, I figured you could. Ice Cream Sandwich is almost non-existent here. Now I know I can walk over to the Sprint booth and tool around on the Galaxy Nexus, but I wanted to see some other, higher powered Android's rocking the new OS. Whatever happened to that illusive Android alliance? How can I get excited for tomorrows Android phones that are all launching with yesterday's OS? CES is the start of the new year and I think myself, as well as many others were expecting to see a new trend set. That trend being that we would at least see some (majority?) of the newest Google powered Android phones sporting the latest OS. Not so. This issue of fragmentation has been the cornerstone of many late night forum battles and blogger posts, myself included, but it is something that needs to be addressed--properly--and NOW. Hopefully Google has something up their sleeve, seeing how that Android Alliance has done nothing. One can dream, right? Hit the comment section and let me know if you feel the same.
